Privacy Policy
This policy describes how personal data submitted through this website is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data Controller
Niobium S.r.l., registered office Spoleto (PG), Italy, VAT 04049150545, REA PG - 376305. Contact: PEC niobium@pec.it, email contact@niobiumsrl.com.
Data We Collect
This website collects personal data in two cases: (a) when you voluntarily submit the Collaboration Request form — full name, organization, role, email address, country, inquiry type, project stage, your message, and your NDA preference; and (b) if you consent to analytics cookies, usage data collected by the analytics tools described below. No advertising or cross-site tracking takes place.
Analytics (only with your consent)
With your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure visits, pages, and traffic sources, and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) to produce heatmaps and anonymized session replays. These tools process usage data and online identifiers, and may transfer data to their U.S. parent companies under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Neither tool is loaded before you consent, and you may withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie Preferences” in the footer, with effect for the future. Independently of consent, Cloudflare Web Analytics provides cookieless, aggregate traffic statistics that do not identify you.
Purpose & Legal Basis
The data you submit is used solely to review, assess, and respond to your request. It is processed for the following purposes, each on its own legal basis:
- Responding to a pre-contractual enquiry
- Where your enquiry concerns a possible engagement, the data is used to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract — assessing and replying to your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Responding to a general enquiry
- Where your enquiry is not pre-contractual (for example, a general or informational message), the data is used to consider and reply to it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Processing does not rely on consent, and no consent is requested to submit the form. Where processing is based on legitimate interest, you may object at any time (see Your Rights).
Recipients & Processors
Form submissions are transmitted by email using Resend, a third-party email-delivery provider acting as data processor. The contact form's anti-spam check is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical data (including your IP address and interaction signals) to distinguish humans from automated bots. Where you have consented to analytics, Google Ireland Ltd. and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. process usage data as described above. Hosting is provided by the website's hosting provider. No data is sold or used for marketing.
Retention
Data is retained only for as long as necessary to evaluate and respond to your request and for any resulting collaboration, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your Rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability of your personal data, and object to its processing. Where processing is based on our legitimate interest, you may object at any time. To exercise these rights, contact contact@niobiumsrl.com or niobium@pec.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Cookies
This website does not use profiling or advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are set only with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time. See the Cookie Policy for the full list, retention periods, and how to manage your choice.
